Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mig and Tig Welder located in Pune. The Mig and Tig Welder will be responsible for tasks such as interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, joining metal components using MIG/TIG welding techniques, inspecting completed welds for quality, and following safety protocols in the workplace. The role requires attention to detail, precision, and adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with experience in handling various metals such as steel, aluminum, and alloys
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong understanding of welding equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices in welding operations
- Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, and using hand and power tools
- Problem-solving and detail-oriented skills to ensure weld quality and alignment with specifications
- Work experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments is an advantage
- Certification in welding techniques or relevant technical training is a plus
