Job Opportunity: Architect/Interior Architect/Spatial Designer (Mid-Level, Senior)

We are a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in museums, exhibitions, adaptive reuse of heritage buildings, cultural spaces, and art programs with more than 20 years of experience. Our projects are deeply rooted in working with craft communities across India and internationally, offering a rich learning environment for passionate and driven architectural students. The studio is led by Siddhartha Das, an alumnus of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with over 24 years of experience on cultural projects across the world. He has conceived and implemented projects across various disciplines of design, architecture, art and crafts.

We are looking for Architects/Interior Architects/Spatial Designers of:

Mid-Level (46-year experience), Full Time

Senior Level (more than 7-year experience), Full Time

to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to contribute to diverse cultural and art-based projects while growing professionally in a multidisciplinary environment.

Location: Lado Sarai, South Delhi (This is an on-site position)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

A. Design Ideation & Development

1)All Levels: Be part of the creative process brainstorming ideas, testing concepts, and helping shape spatial experiences that feel original and grounded.

2)Mid-Level: Take ownership of design deliverables or specific project stages; push ideas further while balancing creativity and practicality.

3)Senior: Lead and guide design direction across projects and mentoring the young architects within the team.

B. 3D Modelling & Visualizations

1)Mid-Level: Translate concepts into refined visuals and drawings that communicate both design intent and atmosphere.

2)Senior: Set the tone for how we communicate design visually mentoring the team and exploring new ways to tell a project's story.

C. Working Drawings

1)Mid-Level: Manage drawing sets and coordinate details across disciplines; problem-solve design challenges with confidence.

2)Senior: Oversee documentation standards, ensuring our ideas hold up technically and beautifully in execution.

D. Project Documentation

1)Mid-Level: Lead documentation flow and make sure everyone's working from the same page.

2)Senior: Shape how we document and communicate our work; bring structure to the creative chaos.

E. Site Visits & Supervision

1)Mid-Level: Be the bridge between studio and site check progress, solve problems, and help translate drawings into reality.

2)Senior: Oversee site processes and ensure design integrity through construction; support the team in navigating the inevitable surprises of building.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

1 Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.

2 Design Sensibility:

Strong design skills with a passion for cultural, museum, and art-based projects.

3 Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite. Knowledge of Blender is an added advantage.

4 Collaborative Spirit:

Eager to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team of architects, designers, and researchers.

5 Attention to Detail:

Ability to focus on the finer aspects of design and execution with strong organizational and communication skills.

6 Problem-Solving & Adaptability:

Someone who enjoys facing challenges and exploring innovative solutions in different project areas.

7 Full project-cycle experience, from concept to completion, is required for mid-level and senior roles.

SALARY

Mid-Level (46-year experience), Rs. 35,000-65,000 per month

Senior Level (more than 7-year experience): Rs. 65,000-Rs. 1,00,000 per month

Accommodation:

for outstation employees, the studio could offer shared accommodation with basic amenities with subsidised rent of Rs. 6000/month based on availability. Utility charge will be charged as per actual consumption. The accommodation is in the same building, which saves time and cost for commute.
