Position: Mid Level Business Development Manager (BDM) IT/BPO Services

Location: Remote (Target markets: USA or Australia)

Employment Type: Full-time | Target-driven role

Job Overview

We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in IT and BPO services. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and converting potential clients, primarily in the USA or Australian markets.

You'll play a key role in generating qualified leads, building long-term client relationships, and closing high-value contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of offshore delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities in IT outsourcing (development, support, testing, cloud, etc.)
  • Engage with senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Directors) in target geographies
  • Analyze client needs and propose tailored offshore solutions
  • Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to develop winning strategies
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Lead contract negotiations with support from legal and finance teams
  • Foster long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in IT services/outsourcing
  • Demonstrated success in selling to U.S. clients
  • Strong understanding of IT services and global delivery models
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, target-focused, and comfortable working across time zones

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Exposure to offshore teams and delivery hubs (e.g., India, Philippines)
  • Domain knowledge in verticals such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Utilities
  • Ability to establish and grow strategic partnerships or channel alliances
