MSD Solution Specialist (Technical Architect / Lead Developer) Finance & Project Operations

Position Overview

We are looking for a technically strong MSD Solution Specialist to architect and implement solutions across Dynamics 365 Finance and Project Operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on development and leadership, ensuring scalable, high-performing solutions without reliance on external development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement end-to-end solutions in D365 Finance and Project Operations. - Develop customizations, integrations, and extensions using X++, C#, Power Platform, and Azure services. - Utilize MSD accelerators (Workspaces, AI, Copilot) to automate and optimize business processes. - Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical designs. - Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior team members. - Implement and maintain functional and IT controls, including SoD and role matrix enforcement. - Support quality assurance through unit testing, peer reviews, and deployment validation. - Provide hands-on support for all development tasksno handoff to separate dev teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Project Operations development and architecture. - Strong command of X++, C#, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure Logic Apps. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing. - Deep understanding of financial and project accounting processes. - Familiarity with ITGCs, SoD frameworks, and audit-compliant development practices. - Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform preferred. - Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder comm
