Microsoft Azure / SQL Server 2012 Integration Services

Responsibilities:

• Technology Implementation & Management: Work extensively with Microsoft Azure cloud services and SQL Server 2012 Integration Services (SSIS), ensuring their smooth operation, optimal performance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Analysis & Development: Conduct detailed analysis, perform development activities, and implement data integration solutions within the Microsoft Azure and SSIS domains.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for issues related to Microsoft Azure infrastructure, data pipelines, and SSIS packages, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption.
• Operational Contribution: Actively contribute to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of data solutions built on or integrated with Azure and SSIS.
• Data Integration Design: Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using SSIS to facilitate data movement and transformation between various sources and destinations.
• Cloud Data Services Utilization: Leverage various data-related services within Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage) to build comprehensive data solutions.
• Solution Optimization: Identify opportunities for optimizing existing solutions and processes within the Azure and SSIS ecosystem to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, data flows, and configurations.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in SQL Server 2012 Integration Services (SSIS).
• Ability to perform analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting within these technologies.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Problem-solving skills for complex technical issues related to data integration and cloud platforms.
