Roles and Responsibilities:
- To ensure microbiological quality of Environment of production area and microbiology area and prepare its documentation.
- Preparation of media and diluents for daily water analysis, product analysis, subculturing of microorganisms.
- To perform calibration of all Instruments in microbiology department.
- Preparation of trend analysis for water testing and environmental monitoring of microbiology area and production area.
- To perform subculturing of all microorganisms related to analysis and perform their maintenance, recording all data related to microbial analysis.
- Routine quality check of water for coliforms and other pathogens.
- Routine microbial limit test of raw materials and finished products.
- Perform departmental trainings and ensure implementation of training.
- Prepare and update SOPs for microbiology section as per standard practices and guidelines.
- To perform disinfectant validation for microbiology department.
- Daily monitoring of incubators, refrigerator, oven, temperature humidity and differential pressure and maintain its record.
- Daily maintenance of cleaning record for instruments and microbiology laboratory.
- To perform Bacterial Endotoxin test for Finished products.
- To maintain microbiology laboratory miscellaneous and glassware consumption record.
- To perform Growth promotion test for microbiological media and maintain its record.
- To maintain consumption of microbiological media and keep record of consumption.
- Preparation of documents and updation as required for customer & regulatory audits.
