Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Manager, HCM Solutions leads the strategy, configuration, and continuous improvement of the organization's Workday platform across the full HR lifecycle. This role oversees Workday configuration, enhancements, integrations, and release management to ensure the system supports efficient, compliant, and scalable HR operations. The Manager is responsible for managing a team of Workday analysts, partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), IT, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize solutions across key HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, and Recruiting.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Workday administration and configuration across multiple HCM modules.
- Manage the design, testing, and deployment of new functionality, enhancements, and integrations to support evolving business needs.
- Oversee the Workday release management process, including impact assessment, testing coordination, and deployment of new features.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other business partners to translate functional requirements into effective, scalable system solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Workday analysts to ensure effective support and delivery of HCM initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and governance across HR systems.
- Monitor and assess new Workday functionality, recommending and implementing features that improve efficiency and user experience.
- Partner with HR COEs to streamline and automate processes while maintaining compliance and alignment with organizational policy.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and reference guides for end users and technical staff.
Qualifications
Education RequirementsMin/Preferred Education Level Description
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors
Degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Additional Qualifications
- Progressive HR Technology experience, including hands-on Workday configuration and support across multiple modules.
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring HRIS or Workday professionals.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, and Position Management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across HR, IT, and business functions to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
