Overview

This position is responsible for working closely with Business, Functional, and IT teams on variousIDOC message types related to Supply Chain operations. The role involves monitoring, resolving, and managing IDOC issues related toMaster Data, Order to Cash (OTC) flow, and Sales & Distribution processesto ensure smooth system operations and minimal business disruption.

In addition to core operational responsibilities, this role includeshandling critical IDOC failures, managing weekly PID monitoring activities, addressing ad-hoc business requests, and supporting business stakeholders as a secondary point of contact. The role also focuses on maintaining process documentation, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with established operational procedures.

The individual is accountable for ensuring timely IDOC resolution within SLA timelines, supporting business continuity, and driving operational efficiency through process governance, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolveIDOC failures related to Supply Chain, OTC, and Sales & Distribution processesto ensure smooth business operations.
  • Responsible forprocessing and managing critical IDOCs & responding to ECG alerts on priorityensuring minimal disruption to business transactions and logistics operations.
  • Performweekly monitoring and posting of PID activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Act as aSecondary Point of Contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders, supporting queries, issue resolution, and operational guidance.
  • Addressad hoc priority requests from business teamsand ensure quick turnaround time to support urgent operational needs.
  • Work closely with field business users and IT support teams to understand operational requirements and support system improvements.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams toidentify root causes of recurring IDOC failures and implement preventive solutions.
  • SupportSAP HANA related processes and system functionalities, ensuring proper data flow across systems.
  • Review, maintain, and updateDesktop Procedures (DTPs)to ensure documentation accuracy and process standardization.
  • Assist intesting new SAP enhancements and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support cross-functional teams duringhigh volume operational periods such as month-end or quarter-end activities.
  • Collaborate with IT and functional teams to ensuretimely resolution of incidents and system issues impacting supply chain processes.
  • To identify process improvements and contribute alongside leads in implementing the same
  • Provide knowledge sharing and guidance to team members onIDOC monitoring, error handling, and process best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
  • Strong experience inSAP ECC / SAP S4 HANA environments, particularly in Supply Chain processes
  • Hands-on experience inIDOC monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working withExcel, VBA automation
