We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MES Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As an MES Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our Manufacturing Execution Systems to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Design, develop, and implement MES solutions to improve manufacturing processes and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES with other systems such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues to minimize downtime
- Develop and maintain documentation for MES processes and procedures
- Provide training and support to end-users on MES functionality
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MES technologies and industry trends
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Industry 4.0 projects
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in MES implementation and support
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems and their applications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, and SQL
- Experience with database management and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of ERP integration with MES
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- MES-specific certifications (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
