MES Application Tester

We are seeking an experienced MES Application Tester to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) applications through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for MES applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues through the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand the application requirements and functionalities.
• Perform regression testing and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and requirements completeness.
• Conduct performance testing and validate system scalability and reliability.
• Prepare test summary reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on MES applications.
• Strong understanding of MES systems and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
