Job Title: MERN Stack Mentor

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the understanding and application of MERN stack concepts to learners.
• Skill Development: Help learners develop strong technical skills necessary for growth and career advancement.
• Efficient Techniques: Share effective and efficient learning techniques specifically designed for Zen learners.
• Career Guidance: Provide guidance and advice to aid career development for learners in the Zen program.
• Training Programs: Develop and deliver technical training programs based on learner requirements.
• Real-Time Projects: Create real-time projects and involve learners in hands-on experience to solidify understanding.
• Progress Tracking: Take ownership of learners progress, maintain individual performance reports, and offer continuous feedback.
• Session Delivery: Conduct live sessions, including 1:1 mentoring.
• Ownership & Support: Take initiative in supporting learners and achieving mutual goals in their learning journey.
• Skill Gap Analysis: Identify common skill shortages and create targeted training plans to address them.
• Progress Follow-Ups: Schedule regular follow-ups to track learner progress and ensure knowledge retention.
• Training Materials: Prepare relevant training materials and lead group or individual training sessions.
• Program Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and implement improvements as needed.
• Reports & Documentation: Provide detailed reports on completed courses, learner progress, attendance, and any ongoing issues.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies through workshops and publications.
• Assignments & Evaluation: Assign weekly tasks, evaluate learner performance regularly, and give personalized attention, especially to learners from non-tech backgrounds.
• Industry Networking: Connect with industry experts, coordinate monthly expert meetings, and ensure all classes follow GUVI's syllabus and norms.
• Two-Way Communication: Facilitate clear, open communication between mentors and learners to enhance the learning experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) with 5+ years of experience.
• Fluency in Tamil is essential.
• Strong mentoring and teaching skills, with the ability to deliver live sessions and 1:1 mentoring.
• Ability to identify learning gaps and develop effective training strategies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track progress and produce reports.
• Motivated to support non-tech background learners and guide them towards success in the tech field.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve personal technical skills.
