Zavya is one of India's fastest-growing D2C silver jewellery brands, crafting modern, premium pieces for everyday elegance. We are scaling our collections, vendors, and launch cycles and looking for a strong Jewellery Merchandiser who can own product development to production.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Jewellery Merchandiser who can take complete ownership of converting designs into production-ready pieces. You'll work closely with vendors, artisans, QC, and internal teams to ensure every product meets Zavya's quality and launch standards. This role requires strong negotiation skills, sharp communication, and the ability to manage multiple timelines with precision. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building structure in the product development process, you will excel here.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Sampling

• Work closely with the design team on sampling, prototyping, and new collection development.
• Maintain detailed sample trackers (cost, changes, approvals, shoot-readiness).
• Share feedback for reworks and ensure final approval before production.

2. Vendor & Manufacturing Management

• Handle silver jewellery vendors/artisan clusters independently.
• Negotiate costings, MOQs, making charges, plating, and timelines.
• Track daily WIP: casting polishing stone setting plating QC packing.
• Oversee hallmarking, plating, and stone QC before final dispatch.

3. Production Follow-ups

• Ensure on-time production as per launch calendar.
• Troubleshoot delays, quality concerns, and batch inconsistencies.
• Coordinate with warehouse & logistics teams for smooth inward/outward movement.

4. Data & Costing Management

• Maintain SKU master sheets: costing, weight, margins, silver rate impact, MOQs.
• Use Excel/Google Sheets for visibility dashboards, pivots, and vendor performance.

5. Cross-Team Coordination

• Work with QC teams for product approvals.
• Align with the shoot & catalogue teams to ensure products are shoot-ready.
• Support marketing and e-commerce teams with timely product availability for launches.

6. Trend & Market Research

• Track jewellery trends, designs, finishes, and competitor launches.
• Identify new vendors, techniques, stones, or materials to innovate faster.

What We're Looking For

• 25 years of experience in jewellery or premium accessories merchandising.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (LOOKUPS, Pivot, trackers).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up discipline.
• Highly organised, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple vendors.
• Willing to travel for vendor visits, hallmarking, QC checks, sourcing, and fairs.
