Merchandiser Trainee

This is an on-site internship role for a Merchandiser Trainee, located in the Greater Madurai Area. The Merchandiser Trainee will assist in inventory management, support the development and execution of merchandising strategies, and analyze market trends. Responsibilities include maintaining product displays, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with customer service. The role also involves frequent collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to ensure product offerings align with customer needs and market demands.

• Strong communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with suppliers and clients
• Understanding of retail and sales concepts, with the ability to support product presentation and drive customer interest
• Basic marketing knowledge to contribute to promotional efforts and merchandising strategies
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with product sourcing or merchandising is a plus
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
