We are looking for a skilled MEP Project Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical design, site execution, testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Experience in both design and site activities will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilites:
- Prepare and review electrical designs, drawings, and layouts for F&B projects.
- Perform electrical load calculations and ensure proper system sizing.
- Carry out HVAC electrical load calculations and coordinate with HVAC teams for seamless integration.
- Supervise electrical installation, wiring, and site execution activities.
- Conduct load testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical systems during installation and project handover.
- Verify wiring quality, electrical connections, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely project execution.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and as-built drawings as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in Food & Beverage (F&B) projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, wiring practices, and site execution.
- Proficiency in electrical load calculations and HVAC load coordination.
- Experience in testing, commissioning and load verification during site execution.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, BOQs and project documentation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other electrical design software is preferred.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in both electrical design and on-site execution.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in F&B processing plants, commercial kitchens or industrial facilities will be an added advantage.
