MEP Project Engineer

Role Description The MEP Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Savli, Vadodara, Gujarat. The role involves overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of projects from design through execution, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers, reviewing drawings and technical documents, and supporting BOQ/BOM preparation and cost evaluation. The MEP Project Engineer will monitor project progress, manage timelines and resources, and contribute to planning, forecasting, and risk identification. The role also includes site supervision, quality checks, documentation, and support with liaison activities related to project approvals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with practical experience in design, installation, and coordination.
• Competence in Systems design, layout review, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.
• Applied skills in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, including load calculation, distribution systems, and integration with overall project design.
• Background in Engineering, covering Electrical, HVAC, pumping systems, and other mechanical services in building projects.
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use design tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for reviews and modifications.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to reporting and record keeping.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline; prior MEP project experience is highly beneficial.
