MEP Manager

Role Description:

This is a full-time MEP Manager role based on-site in Lower Parel, Mumbai at STED archbuild.

Lead MEP planning, design coordination, and execution across architectural and interior design projects.

Liaise between architectural teams, MEP consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent and technical feasibility.

Review and validate MEP design drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Monitor compliance with local codes, green building standards (IGBC/LEED), and client requirements.

Manage value engineering, cost optimization, and selection of MEP systems in alignment with project budget and sustainability goals.

Ensure timely MEP integration during the design and construction stages to avoid rework or delays.

Supervise MEP site works, testing & commissioning, and handover documentation.

Drive technical innovation, energy efficiency, and implementation of smart building technologies.

Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• MEP Coordination and MEP Design skills
• 8-10 years of Experience in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and Procurement
• Knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent project management skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Relevant certification in MEP design or construction management is a plus
