Role Overview
We are seeking an experiencedMEP Engineer / System Design Engineerto review MEP shop drawings, system design drawings, and technical submissions, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, codes, and authority requirements. The role requires strong coordination with consultants, contractors, and site teams to supportaccurateandtimelyproject delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review shop drawings, system design drawings & coordination drawings (Firefighting, Fire Alarm, Smoke Control, LPG, Ventilation).
- Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, project specs, and authority regulations.
- Evaluate design calculations, equipment selections & material submittals.
- Coordinate design issues with consultants and contractors.
- Prepare review reports and follow up on resubmissions.
- Support construction teams with technical clarifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 48 years of experience in MEP design or shop drawing review.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and relevant codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, SBC, IBC, UAR FLSC, NBC).
- Proficiencyin AutoCAD,Revit& MS Office.
- Strong communication,coordination& problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in large-scale building or industrial projects.
- Ability to manage multiple submissions under tight deadlines.
