Role Description The MEP Engineer role at Naukripay Group is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily activities include preparing drawings and technical specifications, collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors, and resolving design and site-level MEP issues. The role involves performing load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection, as well as supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The MEP Engineer will also participate in project meetings, maintain documentation, and contribute to quality, safety, and cost-efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering and MEP coordination for building projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and fire protection design and implementation.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering for building services, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Experience with building services engineering, including HVAC, ventilation, and associated mechanical systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to read and develop technical drawings; familiarity with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to MEP design and installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.
- Prior experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects is an advantage.
