Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an MEP Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical) located in Ethiopia. The MEP Engineer will oversee, plan, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction and building services projects. Responsibilities include reviewing design drawings, ensuring systems meet regulations, collaborating with project teams, and addressing any technical issues on-site to ensure project completion within timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and MEP Coordination
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing and Building Services best practices
• Expertise in Electrical Engineering as it pertains to building services and project implementation
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing blueprints and designs
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for on-site challenges
• Relevant educational background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in construction or related industries is preferred
• Proficiency in relevant design and project management software is a plus
