Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Perform the melting, refining, and processing of steel following documented procedures, industry standards, and detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality output.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date log sheets, documenting all production activities and noting any non-compliances or deviations for review.
Monitor and ensure the safety of equipment, machinery, and personnel within the assigned work area, following all safety protocols and regulations.
Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Support Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental standards and sustainability practices within the section.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain production targets.
Conduct routine checks on equipment and processes, identifying potential hazards or maintenance needs proactively.
