Prepare and edit medical reports such as discharge summaries, operative reports, consultation notes, and diagnostic reports.
Ensure accuracy of medical terminology, abbreviations, and patient information.
Review and proofread transcribed documents for grammar, clarity, and completeness.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital data protection policies.
Coordinate with doctors or medical staff to clarify unclear dictations.
Follow standard formatting and documentation guidelines for medical records.
Ensure timely completion and submission of transcription work.
Qualifications
Any Graduate (preferred certification in Medical Transcription).
Must have skills
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent listening and typing skills
- Strong English grammar and proofreading ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of transcription software and MS Word
Good to have skills
- Knowledge of advanced medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) / Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Ability to understand different accents and speech patterns of doctors
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
