Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Operational Leadership:
- Lead all clinical departments including OPD, IPD, ICU, NICU, PICU, OT, and Labor Room.
- Supervise allied medicine departments such as Pharmacy, Pathology, and Imaging.
- Ensure high standards of preventive, promotive, and curative care.
- Command non-clinical departments including HR, IT, Facility Management, Inventory, and Accounts.
- Oversee operational management of upcoming medical college and peripheral healthcare programs.
Administration & Governance:
- Develop and implement hospital policies, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance programs.
- Manage recruitment, credentialing, and performance of medical and paramedical staff.
- Coordinate with governing board to achieve strategic goals, revenue targets, and marketing initiatives.
- Promote government healthcare programs (e.g., BSBY) and manage TPA-related coordination.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure hospital adheres to NABH standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Implement best practices for patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
Strategic & External Engagement:
- Liaise with vendors, external medical facilities, and stakeholders to optimize hospital services.
- Act as the medical expert in organizational decision-making related to clinical services and infrastructure.
- Drive innovation in clinical processes, service delivery, and patient care programs.
