Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Leadership:

  • Lead all clinical departments including OPD, IPD, ICU, NICU, PICU, OT, and Labor Room.
  • Supervise allied medicine departments such as Pharmacy, Pathology, and Imaging.
  • Ensure high standards of preventive, promotive, and curative care.
  • Command non-clinical departments including HR, IT, Facility Management, Inventory, and Accounts.
  • Oversee operational management of upcoming medical college and peripheral healthcare programs.

Administration & Governance:

  • Develop and implement hospital policies, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance programs.
  • Manage recruitment, credentialing, and performance of medical and paramedical staff.
  • Coordinate with governing board to achieve strategic goals, revenue targets, and marketing initiatives.
  • Promote government healthcare programs (e.g., BSBY) and manage TPA-related coordination.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure hospital adheres to NABH standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.

Strategic & External Engagement:

  • Liaise with vendors, external medical facilities, and stakeholders to optimize hospital services.
  • Act as the medical expert in organizational decision-making related to clinical services and infrastructure.
  • Drive innovation in clinical processes, service delivery, and patient care programs.
