Position Overview
Jivika Foundation is seeking an experienced Medical Operations Officer to strengthen the medical and operational quality of our public health programs. This role includes medical audits, field supervision, technical assessments, and training responsibilities. Candidates must come with strong hospital-based clinical experience, especially in emergency or core medical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct medical and operational audits across ongoing health programs to ensure adherence to clinical and procedural standards.
Supervise on-ground implementation of medical activities during awareness or vaccination drives.
Plan and conduct training sessions for medical professionals, field teams, and support staff.
Support in recruitment and technical interviews for medical and paramedical positions.
Evaluate and recommend medical devices, equipment, and consumables as per program needs.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for timely medical logistics and readiness.
Provide medical guidance for program design, safety protocols, and field operations.
Prepare detailed audit and observation reports, highlighting risks and corrective actions.
Travel across India for audits, training, and field-level supervision.
Required Qualifications & Experience
BAMS degree - 2+ years of compulsory emergency ward or core hospital experience
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient safety, and public health protocols
Experience in training, quality audits, or medical supervision (preferred)
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
Willingness to travel for program requirements
Only candidates presently based in Pune or Maharashtra are eligible
