Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations, and treatment plans.
• Provide emergency medical care and stabilize patients when required.
• Monitor patients progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Refer patients to specialists or higher-level healthcare facilities when indicated.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community health activities.
• Monitor and report communicable diseases and other notifiable conditions as required.
• Follow applicable medical ethics, professional standards, and legal requirements.
• Ensure the proper use of medical equipment and availability of essential medicines.
