Job Title: Surgery Medical Coder/Auditor

Job Summary

The Surgery Medical Coder is responsible for accurately assigning ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. This role ensures compliance with payer regulations, maximizes reimbursement, and supports accurate clinical documentation.

Certifications (Required / Preferred)

• ✅ CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
• ✅ CCS or CCS‑P
• ✅ CIC (preferred for inpatient surgery coding)

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Health Information Management / Medical Coding
• 2 - 7+ years of hands‑on surgery coding experience
• Experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle (mandatory)
