Role Overview:

We are looking for a Medical Coding Intern who is interested in healthcare documentation, coding standards, and data accuracy. This role provides hands-on exposure to medical coding processes and healthcare data management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and analyze medical records for coding accuracy

* Assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures under supervision

* Ensure compliance with coding standards and healthcare regulations

* Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical data

* Assist in auditing and validating coded records

* Work with healthcare documentation systems and tools

* Identify discrepancies and support correction processes

* Maintain proper documentation of coding activities

Required Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field

* Basic understanding of medical terminology

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Good analytical and documentation skills

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data

* Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

* Familiarity with ICD coding systems (basic knowledge)

* Exposure to healthcare documentation or medical records

* Interest in healthcare analytics or operations
