Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Coder, based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring accurate coding of medical records, applying industry-standard codes, and collaborating with healthcare teams to verify information. The role will involve maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, staying updated on current coding standards, and ensuring the accuracy of data in health information systems to support seamless billing and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Coding and familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Coding Experience along with strong analytical skills
- Certification or qualification as an RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
- Experience or education in Health Information Management
- Attention to detail, ability to follow compliance standards, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, with good communication and collaboration skills
