Medical coder E/M - Non-CPC- Nungambakkam, Chennai-WhatsApp HR-7200003809

We are seeking experienced E/M Medical Coder to join our team in Chennai (Ambattur/Egmore/Nungambakkam, Anna Nagar). The ideal candidate will have 6 months - 4 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding. This role requires a keen eye for detail, compliance knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

·        Review and analyze medical documentation to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.

·        Ensure coding compliance with regulations and guidelines set by healthcare authorities.

·        Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify and resolve coding discrepancies.

·        Maintain accurate and detailed records of coding activities and patient information.

·        Stay updated with the latest coding standards and practices through continuous education.

Skills and Qualifications

·        6 months -4 years of experience in medical coding, specifically E&M coding.

·        Proficient in the use of coding software and tools.

·        Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation.

Salary: Will be matched according to previous salary and experience.
