Must have Qualifications:

MBBS/ MD/ MDS/ BDS

At least 15 publications in top global PubMed indexed journals

10+ years of experience in research affairs or similar roles

Must be located in commutable distance to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Experience in Research and Development (R&D), research, and project management

Extensive experience in a research environment with a proven track record of successful research projects

Outstanding communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage a team of scientists and delegate tasks effectively

Good organizational and problem-solving skills

Team management and team leadership abilities

Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in the medical or cosmetic surgery field

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Medical Affairs will ensure the strategic alignment of medical initiatives with the company's objectives. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of medical strategies, providing scientific and clinical support to various departments, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Research Paper Writing

Medical Protocol Designing

Medical Scientific Support:

• Provide scientific and clinical expertise to support product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing activities.
• Oversee the development of medical information and communication materials for internal and external use.

Doctors and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities.
• Represent the company at scientific and medical conferences, meetings, and events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure the alignment of medical and business strategies.
• Provide medical insights to support market access and pricing strategies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze clinical data to support product positioning and differentiation.
• Prepare and present medical reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBBS, with MD Pharmacology or Dermatology will be preferred.
• We may consider PhD, BDS, PharmD or equivalent in a relevant medical or scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trials, and drug development processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
