Job Description

  • Collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs):
  • Build and maintain relationships withLeading Specialiststo understand customer needs and tailor medical activities accordingly. Engage inround tables,advisory boards, andmedical education programs(approximately 20% of your time will be dedicated to direct interactions with KOLs).
  • Medical Affairs Strategy:
  • Contribute to theMedical Affairs Plan, including budget monitoring, by providing strategic input on medical programs, product positioning, and market insights. Be an active member of thecross-functional value team (CVT)andlocal action team (LAT).
  • Pre-launch and Post-launch Activities:
  • Develop and implement pre-launch medical strategies and lead the design and facilitation of educational programs and presentations for both internal teams and external stakeholders, focusing onclinical dataand the value propositions of new products.
  • Compliance Regulatory Standards:
  • Ensure all activities are in full compliance withJohnson Johnson s CredoandHealth Care Business Integrity (HCBI) principlesto preserve trust and reputation in the market.
  • Medical Content Development:
  • Contribute to the development and review ofpromotionalandeducational materialsfor internal and external use, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Medical Doctor (MD),PhD, or aPharmaceutical/Natural Sciencedegree (with an MD/PhD being an additional asset).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experiencein medical affairs, clinical gastroenterology, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding ofclinical gastroenterology, including scientific research, clinical trial design, data interpretation, and strategy formulation.
  • Proficiency inEnglishand at least one of the following languages:GermanorFrench.
  • Strongcritical and strategic thinkingskills, with the ability to translate scientific advancements into actionable medical affairs strategies and tactics.
  • Excellentcommunication skillsand the ability to engage withHCPson a peer-to-peer level.

Preferred:

  • Experience in designing and leadingmedical programs, working withcross-functional teams, and executingmedical educationinitiatives.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build professional working relationships across various departments and geographies.
