Job Description

The Mediation Zone (MZ) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions in the Mediation Zone for telecom billing systems. The role involves working with SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and integrating multiple telecom protocols to ensure accurate and efficient processing of billing and charging data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement changes in the Mediation Zone (MZ) for telecom billing systems.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize mediation and billing processes to ensure accurate data transformation and charging.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts and queries to extract, transform, and load data for billing purposes.
  • Work on Unix/Linux environments for development, deployment, and automation tasks.
  • Integrate MZ systems with other platforms using protocols such as REST, SOAP, and FTP.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with telecom billing standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Route Mediation Zone development.
  • Strong understanding of telecom mediation, charging, and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data processing and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols including REST, SOAP, and FTP.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices is a plus.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of Kenan Billing systems.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
