Role Overview
We are looking for a
Media Scanning Associate to monitor, track, and analyze media coverage, news, and public narratives relevant to political campaigns in
Punjab. The role involves scanning print, digital, and social media platforms to gather insights and provide timely updates to the campaign and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor newspapers, TV channels, online news portals, and social media for relevant news and updates.
- Track political developments, opposition activities, public sentiment, and trending topics.
- Summarize and report daily media updates to senior management.
- Highlight critical news, emerging narratives, and potential risks for campaigns.
- Maintain organized records of media coverage and trends.
- Coordinate with media, campaign, and strategy teams to ensure insights are acted upon.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of scanned media reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent Punjabi communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Familiarity with media scanning, social media platforms, and news monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and fast-paced campaign environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify critical news and trends.
Experience
- 13 years of experience in media monitoring, journalism, or political research preferred.
- Punjab-based experience is mandatory.
