Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Media Sales Executive to join our PR and strategic communications agency in Chandigarh. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a professional who understands the media and communications ecosystem and can drive revenue by building partnerships and selling integrated media and PR solutions to brands, startups, and enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and develop new revenue opportunities aligned with the agency's media, PR, and communications offerings.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, potential advertisers, and client segments.
- Generate qualified sales leads through outreach, networking, digital platforms, and industry events.
- Pitch media opportunities, visibility packages, and integrated communication solutions to prospective clients.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and customized media plans based on client objectives.
- Present agency offerings and media solutions confidently to prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Build and nurture relationships with brands, founders, marketing teams, and corporate decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal PR, content, and strategy teams to create effective client proposals and campaigns.
- Manage sales pipelines, track opportunities, and ensure timely follow-ups with potential clients.
- Support negotiations and contribute to closing sales deals and partnerships.
- Represent the agency professionally in meetings, industry events, and networking platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in media sales, advertising sales, sponsorship sales, or business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Understanding of media, advertising, PR, or communications industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strategic mindset with a strong focus on achieving revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in media agencies, digital platforms, PR agencies, or advertising sales roles is an advantage.
