Job Description:

Application packaging using Admin Studio and PSADT, MECM and MDM administration.

Application Packaging using Admin Studio/PSADT.

Deploy and troubleshoot application installation.

Handle overall tickets related MECM/SCCM environment.

Handle tickets related to MDM

Knowledge of ITIL and use the same for ticket handling.

Work on Incidents, Requests, Changes, and problem related to MECM.

Handle escalations/issue related to MECM/SCCM.

Briefly:

The MECM Application Packager is responsible for endtoend application packaging testing deployment and lifecycle management using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECMSCCM The role ensures applications are packaged in a standardized secure and unattended manner fully compliant with enterprise deployment and security standards

This role works closely with Desktop Engineering Security Infrastructure and Application Owners to deliver reliable application deployments with minimal enduser disruption

Key Responsibilities

Application Packaging Deployment

Package repackage and customize Windows desktop applications using MECM SCCM native features and enterprise packaging tools SundyneLTbled 6Oct Word

Create and maintain silentunattended install and uninstall packages MSI EXE AppV where applicable

Configure detection methods dependencies supersedence and requirements in MECM

Deploy applications to pilot test and production collections following change and release processes

Handle up to defined monthly packaging requests as per operational SLA SundyneLTbled 6Oct Word

Testing Validation

Perform thorough validation of packaged applications including

Successful install and uninstall without errors

Application launch and termination validation

Usercontext and systemcontext testing

Selfrepair and resilience testing where applicable SundyneLTbled 6Oct Word

Troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures detection issues and installation errors

Documentation Compliance

Create and maintain packaging documentation install guides and validation checklists

Ensure applications comply with security OS hardening and enterprise standards

Support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate packaging records

Collaboration Support

Coordinate with Application Owners Security Teams Desktop Support and Release Management

Support incident and change activities related to application deployments

Participate in root cause analysis for failed or unstable deployments

Required Technical Skills

Strong handson experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM SCCM

Proven experience in Windows application packaging MSI EXE scripted installs

Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting for packaging and automation

Experience with application detection logic return codes and logging

Understanding of Windows OS architecture registry file system and services

Familiarity with enterprise patching and deployment processes

Preferred NicetoHave Skills

Experience with Intune Microsoft Endpoint Manager MEM comanagement

Exposure to application virtualization AppV MSIX

Knowledge of Windows security hardening and endpoint compliance

Experience working in managed services or large enterprise environments

ITIL process awareness Incident Change Release
