- Design, develop, and optimize automotive components and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, suspensions, HVAC, etc.)
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and CAD modeling (e.g., using SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD)
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure product feasibility and performance
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations on mechanical systems
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of components and systems
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
- Ensure designs comply with automotive industry regulations (e.g., ISO, SAE, IATF 16949)
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA processes, and continuous improvement activities
- Provide engineering support during production launch and throughout the product lifecycle
