Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Mechanical Structure Design (Assistant Manager) based in Thane. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical structures, creating and reviewing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, performing maintenance planning and tasks, and conducting detailed inspections. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience (6-9 years) in Design & Development of room air conditioners
• Very sound knowledge of plastic materials (must have plastic component end-to-end delivery)
• Sound Knowledge of Press Die & Molded Parts Designing, including the Tooling. 
• Experience in proving tooling trials – T0, T1, T2, and serial production
• Well versed with manufacturing processes, line processes, quality tools, and prototyping.
• Development / maintenance of design database & Understanding of  Bill of Material (BOM) structures in Windchill
• Good analytical/troubleshooting skills/ Problem solver
• Skills: Creo, Plastic / Sheet Metal component design, GD&T, DFMEA, NPD, Project Management, Six Sigma [GB/BB] 
• Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech (Machine Design / Mechanical). Preferred candidate from CIPET, CITD, and IGTR.
