Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping / Valves Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and analysis of piping systems and valves, contributing to various engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze piping systems and valve arrangements for various projects.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering documents.
- Conduct stress analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on piping and valve engineering activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6-14 years of experience in mechanical piping and valve engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for designing piping layouts.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Experience with stress analysis software (CAESAR II, ANSYS, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
