Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in the design and analysis of piping systems for various industrial applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that piping systems are designed effectively, meet all regulatory standards, and function efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze piping systems for various projects ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare detailed piping specifications and material requisition lists.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
- Conduct stress analysis and ensure the integrity of piping systems under various operational conditions.
- Participate in project reviews and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to piping layout and installation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-12 years of experience in mechanical piping engineering, with a strong understanding of design codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or equivalent.
- Experience in performing stress analysis using software like CAESAR II or similar.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics as they relate to piping systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
