We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a proven track record of managing maintenance activities in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
