Mechanical Lead

Position Overview: This position is part of the Technology & Delivery function at INDUS Towers, overseeing the Mechanical Solutions Portfolio. Responsibilities encompass managing design evaluations, solution architecture, and engineering. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, OEMs, and technical experts on product and solution discussions as well as new product initiatives. Mechanical Products & Solutions include but are not limited to all HVAC and mechanical products such as cabinets/enclosures, thermal cooling units, and DC air conditioning systems suitable for outdoor/indoor applications required for telecom sites, data centers, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch [Mechanical / HVAC Products & Solutions]

2. Understand and articulate customer/business needs, conduct technical evaluations, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and lead design & development of HVAC & Mechanical Products/ Solutions.

3. Understanding of the code of standard applicable, safety regulations and practices.

4. Write detailed product requirements documents and define specifications, features and KPIs and drive trade-off discussions and decisions.

5. Work across Organizations internal teams and customers to build multi-household product requirements, roadmap, and solution delivery

6. Mange collaborations with various product & solutions OEMs/Suppliers /Partners & design and product development programs. [Validate specifications, technical test requirements etc].

RequiredQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Proficiency in HVAC systems design, product engineering.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in CFD. Thermal analysis & related software tools will be an added advantage.

Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.

Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process

Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze & resolve problems.
