We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee the mechanical maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all mechanical operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff and technicians in mechanical practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as mechanical components.
- Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
