Role OverviewThis is a high-trust, multi-functional engineering role positioned directly under the Founder's Office at Tono. The Mechanical Engineer will manage both international and domestic technical operations, respond to enquiries received via email/WhatsApp, coordinate with production teams, ensure accurate documentation, and support day-to-day decision-making.
This role is ideal for a fresher who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-scaling premium technology company.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Coordination & Enquiry Handling- Respond to international and local enquiries received on email, WhatsApp, and website.
- Understand customer requirements and provide accurate technical guidance.
- Prepare quotations, datasheets, and solution recommendations for Tono lifting systems and accessories.
- Act as a technical bridge between customers, dealers, and the Founder's Office.
2. Operations Support (International & Domestic)- Track incoming orders, timelines, and customer commitments.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Monitor order status and maintain clarity between internal teams and customers.
- Assist in QC checks, packaging instructions, and handling special project requirements.
3. Documentation & Reporting- Maintain logs of enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly operational reports for the Founder's Office.
- Assist in updating product manuals, installation guides, and technical documents.
- Maintain structured documentation for export orders, HS codes, and accessory lists.
4. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise- Gain deep understanding of Tono motorized lifts, projector mechanisms, and related accessories.
- Test and learn product mechanisms to confidently guide customers and internal teams.
- Conduct basic technical troubleshooting for dealers and installers.
5. Founder's Office Support- Assist the Founder in research, product development notes, and competitor comparisons.
- Coordinate priority tasks and ensure smooth flow of communication across departments.
- Participate in strategy discussions for improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications- BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (fresher or 01 year experience).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, moving mechanisms, and basic electrical compatibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and work with high ownership.
- Comfort with WhatsApp Business, email communication, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic documentation.
