Masters or bachelor s in mechanical engineering or related disciplines.
Skills & Abilities
- Familiar with HVAC System design calculations including cooling and heating load calculations, Fan static pressure calculations, pump head calculations, Air distribution system design, Chilled/Hot water piping design..etc.
- Proficient user of REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, HAP, Trace 3D Plus, eQuest, and Navisworks software s.
- Familiar with ASHRAE, IPC, NFPA codes and standards.
- LEED and Energy modeling knowledge is an added advantage.
- HVAC Controls and Building management system knowledge is an added advantage.
- Plumbing and Fire protection knowledge is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Geothermal cooling and loop design is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Energy Management and Energy Auditing (ASHRAE Level I, II & III) is an added advantage.
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
