Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with 36 years of experience in food factory or flight catering operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, installation, and efficient operation of MEP systems and commercial kitchen equipment in high-volume catering environments. The role requires hands-on experience in managing

industrial kitchen utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and food production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities in food production or catering facilities.

Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.

Ensure smooth functioning of industrial kitchen equipment such as ovens, chillers, blast freezers, dishwashers, cooking ranges, and refrigeration units.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for kitchen and facility equipment.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and upgrades.

Monitor energy efficiency, safety, and compliance with food safety and facility standards.

Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment logs.

Support facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in food production environments.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).

Experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance.

Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC, and utility management.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.

Knowledge of food industry hygiene and safety standards.

Vendor and contractor management skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in flight catering units or large-scale food factories.

Exposure to industrial kitchen layouts and utilities planning.

Experience working with high-volume catering or food production facilities.
