Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman responsible for preparing detailed manufacturing drawings of spray nozzles, control valves, and related components. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical drafting standards, GDT, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for spray nozzles and control valves.
- Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, GA drawings, and BOM.
- Modify existing drawings as per design changes or customer requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with ISO / ASME standards.
- Coordinate with design engineers, production, and QA teams.
- Maintain drawing records and revision control.
- Support production team during fabrication and assembly stages.
- Prepare documentation for client approvals if required.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
- Knowledge of GDT and tolerancing
- Understanding of machining, casting, forging, and fabrication processes
- Familiar with valve components (Body, Trim, Actuator, Seat, Stem, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics (preferred)
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in CAD software preferred
