Role Overview

The Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining mechanical, technical, and engineering drawings using CAD software. The role requires close collaboration with design engineers to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with engineering and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update mechanical and technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with design engineers to support product development and manufacturing processes
• Manage BOM creation, drawing data, and production coordination through ERP systems
• Ensure precision and accuracy in all design work

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 24 years in mechanical design engineering (applications outside this range will not be considered)
• Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (candidates with higher qualifications will not be eligible)
• Location: Must be based in Ahmedabad or surrounding areas
• Software Proficiency: SolidWorks and AutoCAD ( Sheet metal and solid components and assemblies )
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, engineering documentation, and design principles( Sheet metal and solid components and assemblies )
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows
• ERP Systems: Working knowledge for BOM creation, drawing data management, and production coordination
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
