We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with 2-6 years of experience to join our Transmission & Distribution team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Piping Designer proficient in CADWorx Plant Professional or Autodesk Plant 3D. This role requires a professional who can develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and 3D models while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality solutions that comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Piping Design & Modeling: Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and 3D models based on P&IDs, project specifications, and engineering drawings. You will use CADWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D to design piping systems, equipment, and structures within plant layouts.

You will also oversee and coordinate with draftsmen and other designers to ensure seamless integration of piping designs. The ability to independently handle small-scale projects is essential.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure all designs comply with industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, and ASME B31.8. You will adhere to quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of all design deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: An ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Piping, or a similar field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CADWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is required. Experience with clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks is also a key skill. You should have a strong understanding of industry codes and standards for piping design.
  • Personal Attributes: You must be an innovative and collaborative team player with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
