Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks OR Autocad)

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks OR AutoCAD). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional experienced in plastic and metal mold design, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for designing and developing components for industrial and automation systems, creating precise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility.

Job Role

• Component Design & Development: Design and develop components for industrial and automation systems.
• 3D Modeling & 2D Drawing: Create and revise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Prototyping & Documentation Support: Provide support in prototyping and design documentation.

Required Skills

• CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD).
• Mold Design Experience: Experience in plastic and metal mold design.
• 3D Printing Knowledge: Knowledge of 3D printing design considerations.
• Manufacturing Understanding: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerances.
• Technical Drawings: Ability to read and create technical drawings.
• BOM & Document Handling: Exposure to Bill of Material (BOM) and document handling of systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer, with demonstrable proficiency in the required CAD software and design processes.
