Mechanical Design Engineer - Mech Seals -Pune MNC

A leading MNC company in Pune, specializing in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals and support systems is looking for persons with following requirements:

Job Title:Design Engineer 

 Department: Group Engineering

 Reporting to: Team Leader

 Position Summary:

 Work as a Team Member for the Group Design Customer Order Team / Bearing Protection design team.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Designing of Mechanical seal as per customer's requirement with company's design standard

Creation of General Arrangement & manufacturing drawings for customer order

Enhance technical capabilities by completing Training courses on Mechanical seal

To do internal communication for the execution of projects with concerned Sales co-ordination, Technical team & UK based design team

Follow the departmental procedures to adhere to ensuring design quality standards

Effective utilization of Solid Edge & Team center

Experience, skills & qualification:

BE – Mechanical with minimum with minimum two to maximum four years relevant experience in Design & Development of engineering products.

Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.

Team player with Strong design principles, GDT practices and engineering fundamentals.

Knowledge of Rotating equipment like Pumps, Agitators & Mechanical seals, and manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.

Candidates having skill sets in Solid Edge, ACAD, and Team center will be preferred.
