Mechanical Design Engineer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Mechanical design, DFM (Coffee machines, snack vending machines and Food processing equipment)

Research and development

Create and maintain Bill of Materials

Develop production drawings using Inventor, Solidworks, Auto CAD

Supplier/vendor liaison

New Product development and innovation

Prototyping

Analysis and simulation (FMEA)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

Knowledge of plastics / injection molding / mold design / press tool design

Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing techniques

Long term career orientation

Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Effective communicator
